Michael Brennan is a champion of the common good. That’s why my wife Elaine and I are voting for this congressional candidate. We’ve admired him and his skills for years, achieving a long list of legislative accomplishments. We applaud Michael’s unqualified support of a national single-payer health-care system — Medicare for all.

This vital legislation has been stagnant too long. I have heard the naysayers’ complaints about a similar system in Canada. But all my Canadian relatives tell me they are totally satisfied with it. We urge your readers to vote for Michael Brennan. As our U.S. congressman, he will help move this critically important legislation forward. Francis A. McGillicuddy Portland
